RYAN

DAYNES

Ryan has been fishing since he could walk, raised in the Wild Coast, Transkei in Southern Africa. Fishing and the ocean was a family ritual. A passion that became an obsession. His fishing skill arsenal spans from fresh & saltwater flyfishing, estuarine light-tackle, rock and surf, shore based, topwater to deep jigging and more. A lifelong surfer and true waterman, he is not a stranger to exploration and is undoubtedly at the forefront of land-based South African shoreline fishing. Every friend that is fortunate enough to go fishing with him will have a story to tell of that lifetime fish he put them onto.

Africa is in his blood. His ideal charter, based on homesoil would be taking his crew through the best of what South Africa and in some cases Africa has to offer. From different types of fishing based on season to searching the coasts for the next offshore swells, mixed with some Safari and cultural stops along the way. He likes to rough-it, sleeping under the stars after a couple of ice cold beers and a serious braai (barbeque in Afrikaans). One things for sure with Ryan as your guide you will take home memories that will etch in your mind forever and keep you coming back again and again...
